Position Summary:
This java developer position is part of a team that focuses on development of the electrical and software systems of market leading automotive technologies such as infotainment, telematics, safety, etc.
People best suited for this position are able to drive technical solutions from innovative technology driven ideas and work well in a dynamic and diversified environment.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop web-based system in Java for an important automotive project.
• Create tests for new features.
• Create database relational models.
• Create advanced SQL queries.
• Deploy application for DEV & QA environments.
• Follow SCRUM processes.
• Create reports for the client.
Requirements/Core Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Telematics Engineering or related.
• 1-2 years’ experience in Software Development.
Required Skills:
• Good knowledge in OOP
• English C1/C2 (we have daily meetings in English)
• Algorithms - search, sort, b-trees
• Design Patterns – MVC
• Software engineering - SDLC, CMMI, agile methods e.g. SCRUM, version control (ClearCase, git, svn), bug tracking (JIRA, Rally), static code checking, Lint, unit testing, continuous integration.
• UML - class diagram, component diagram, state diagram, sequence diagram
• Javascript, HTML, CSS.
Desired Skills:
• ORM frameworks like JPA.
• Good knowledge in JSF, Primefaces, Angular.
• Java Optimization.
• Strong knowledge in Hierarchical structures(Graphs,Trees)
Personal Qualities:
• Have strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.
• Have excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates a high level of determination and perseverance.
