Position description:
Position Summary:
This system engineer position is part of a team that focuses on development of the electrical and software systems of market leading automotive technologies such as infotainment, telematics, safety, etc.

People best suited for this position are able to drive technical solutions from innovative technology driven ideas and work well in a dynamic and diversified environment.

Position Responsibilities:
• To design, implement and verify an embedded software system according to product specifications.
• To cooperate with other engineers with different engineering disciplines to achieve optimal system integration.
• To produce high quality and accurate embedded software systems.
• To read specifications of automotive systems. Develop tests for the infotainment system and run these tests.
Requirements/Core Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Embedded Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 0-2 years’ experience in testing and development software.
Required Skills:
• Embedded C essentials
• Python for scripting, for example to modify simple text files.
• C Sharp Programming.
• Algorithms - search, sort, b-trees
• Knowledge of vehicle communication systems (CAN, Ethernet,LIN)
• Software engineering - Agile methods e.g. SCRUM, version control (ClearCase, git, svn).
• Matlab (Simulink) programming.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (Presentations, Test reports, etc.)
• Fluent in English
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Automotive Embedded Software development
• UML - class diagram, component diagram, state diagram, sequence diagram
• Basic electronics - schematics reading, using oscilloscope, multimeter etc.
• Specialized techniques for embedded programming.
• DOORS, SharePoint, or similar
• Basic FPGA/ ASIC design, basic DSP
Personal Qualities:
• Have strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.
• Have excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates a high level of determination and perseverance.
