Position description:
Position Summary:
The test engineer position is part of a team that focuses on development of tests for the electrical and software systems of market leading automotive technologies such as infotainment, telematics, safety, etc.
People best suited for this position are able to drive technical solutions from innovative technology driven ideas and work well in a dynamic and diversified environment.
Position Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and execute infotainment tests according to product specifications.
• Cooperate with other engineers with different engineering disciplines to achieve optimal system integration.
• Produce high quality and accurate test procedures for infotainment system and execute them.
• Analyze automotive systems specification documents.
• Delivery of all activities on time.
• Continuous improvement of internal processes.
Requirements/Core Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or related.
• 0-3 years’ experience in the electronics design and testing field and the automotive industry.
• Essentials of automotive product development.
• Automotive communication protocols – CAN, LIN, Ethernet, I2C.
• Requirement analysis.
• Testing methodologies such as ISTQB.
• Software engineering methodologies, agile methods e.g. SCRUM, bug tracking (JIRA), unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Basic electronics - schematics reading, using oscilloscope, multimeter, soldering iron.
• Project Management essentials.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, PP, MS Project).
• Fluent in English.
Desired Skills:
• Basic Object Oriented Programming.
• DOORS, SharePoint, or similar.
• Matlab/ Simulink basic knowledge.
• Labview Core 1 knowledge desired.
• KPIs development.
