Sr Software Engineer for automation projects.
Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed specifications from which automation scripts will be written.
• Design, code, debug, test, document and maintain complex automation scripts.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives.
• Research and resolve production problems.
• Perform moderate to high degree of business analysis and/or technical analysis.
• Perform script migrations.
• May serve as technical lead on project.
• Interacts with technical team and business unit on regular basis

6+ years of experience leading software automation teams, tools, and best practices

Technical Knowledge required
• Knowledge of shell scripting on Linux, Bash, Korn, Perl, Python or Ansible scripts
• Knowledge of shell scripting on Windows, PowerShell, or Python
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST and JSON for calling API Services in Automation Scripts.
• Comfortable working in RedHat Linux command-line.
• Participate in production support team.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and platforms such as Terraform, Rundeck, Ansible, etc.
• Excellent general understanding of Linux, cloud networking and server management
• Knowledge of HTTP or Background in web technologies is highly desired.
• Experience with LMA (Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting) using monitoring tools, preferably using Dynatrace
• Knowledge about maintenance of Linux and Windows systems.
