Squad is a distributed team composed of very passionate and friendly people working on a game they love, Kerbal Space Program. We are looking for an Associate Producer to join our international development team. In this role, you will work along with the Lead Producer to help coordinate development tasks, localization process, track team needs, and production schedules in our Mexico City office. You must be able to work effectively in a distributed team, handle multiple tasks, be organized, and self-motivated.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of production experience in video games, animation, movies, television, or cultural projects. At least one product shipped.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Jira and/or other relevant project management toolset, including learning new ones when required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills – able to manage time/workload and work under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritize accordingly.
Ability to interact effectively with remote collaborators.
Detail-oriented and self-starter, able to work under minimal supervision and drive tasks or responsibility to completion and meet the deadline.
Ability to independently identify issues/problems and present creative solutions.
Passion for video games.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
International travel may be required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Curate a healthy working environment and culture for the team.
Assist team with tracking and updating production schedules.
Support the production team with planning and budgeting processes for products.
Be responsible for one or more areas of development within a project.
Localization management with external vendors. Coordinate milestones, handle their workflow and correct in-game implementation.
Project management tasks through each phase of development, using tracking databases.
Gather and coordinate milestone and development feedback with development teams.
Support the development team by removing production blockers.
Participate in meetings and drive relevant assigned tasks.
Communicate task status to other producers and leads.
Plan and request budget for hardware and software needs.
Follow up on the community management team.
